Yugioh Trading Card Game
Love it or hate it, Yugioh is one of the most popular card games on the planet. Deceptively simple at first, even a modest library of cards can lead to vastly different decks, some worthless, and some unstoppable.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME is the #1 trading card game in the world with over 18 billion cards sold. It is a game of strategy, where players create individual decks of cards collected from Structure Decks and Booster Packs.
Two players engage in a duel while using cards that represent powerful Monsters, magical Spells and surprising Traps. Duelists with well-constructed decks, dominating monsters, solid strategy and good fortune are the victors in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
Certain cards can use certain abilities. These are the card types: trap cards, spell cards, monsters and fusion monsters. Trap cards are the cards that are laid face down. When your opponent attacks, the card can either be flipped over and activated, or you can just leave it face down, take damage and be used later.
Spell cards are the brothers of the trap cards. Like people, they can be related but are not exactly the same. When they are played on the field, they are instantly activated. If you want to use it later on in the game, then don’t use it just yet.
Monster cards are the cards that do the main damage. For example, let’s use my “The Wicked Dreadoot”. It has 4000 attack and defense. So, if I attack my opponent directly, it would take away 4000 life points from him/her.
Fusion monsters are at least three monsters combined. They usually have better defense and attack points and great special abilities. If you think one of your cards is a fusion monster, make sure it has a purple back ground color, and you know which cards make it.
The Main Yugioh Cards of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game
Number one: The Egyptian God cards. The names of the cards are Winged Dragon of Ra, Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor. I’ll now tell you the abilities of these cards.
I’ll start with Slifer. Have you ever wondered what the “X’s” mean? Well, this is the special ability and the meaning. It means that how many cards your holding is multiplied by 1000 for his attack and defense. Plus, Slifer can’t be effected by trap, spell and monster effects.
Next I’ll tell you about Ra. You have two choices. You can: pay 1000 life points and destroy any monster on your opponents field or, pay any amount life points to increase the attack and defense of the card the amount of the life points paid.
Finally, Obelisk. You can sacrifice two monsters to attack all your opponents monsters and his/her life points. Oh yeah, did I tell you that Obelisk can’t be targeted by spell, trap and monster cards.
Number two : Atem (Pharaoh) and Yugi’s deck because it has the three legendary Egypt ion God cards.
Number three and the last: Kaiba’s fierce dragon deck for it’s amazing power.
